Usually when I come home from a wedding I start downloading the pictures and select the best ones. I love this one from Veronica and Matteo’s Wedding in Albenga, Liguria, Italy.

Yesterday were released the results of ISPWP Wedding Photography Contest Winners | Spring 2011 and I am pleased to have classified four of my photos.. Congratulations to Davina + Daniel for the title “Photographer of the Quarter. ” Great – as always – even Dave Getzman from Ben Chrisman Photography! It’s been a beautiful sunny day with Kenny Kim’s Photo Venture III in Cinque Terre. We had a lot of fun, shot lots of photographs and, of course, chatted a lot of photography, Wedding Business, etc.

Except that they are great photographers, they all are also so nice and interesting people.

There were Kenny Kim, Max Brunelli (the best and funniest tour guide in Italy), Natalie and Alex Nelson, The great New York Wedding Photographer Tomas Flint, Toni LoBue (her italian is better than my english , Jenny Vincente, Rob and Vanessa Adams, Stephanie Koo, Mark Dong and Jessica Matney … hope I have forgotten no one…

The Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It is in the Liguria region of Italy, to the west of the city of La Spezia. “The Five Lands” is composed of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Cinque Terre is noted for its beauty. Over centuries, people have carefully built terraces on the rugged, steep landscape right up to the cliffs that overlook the sea. Part of its charm is the lack of visible “modern” development. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages, and cars cannot reach it from the outside. It is a very popular tourist destination.
